C. Public Comment
The Library Board invites citizens to address the Board on any matter, except items on the agenda and public hearings that are included on the agenda. Comments related to items on the agenda and public hearings will be heard when the specific item/hearing starts. Citizen comments are limited to three (3) minutes, unless otherwise required by law. To address the Board, please fill out a Public Comment Card and submit it to a staff member prior to the Public Comment section on the agenda. The Library Board is not permitted to take any action or discuss any item not listed on the agenda. The Board may choose to place the item on a future agenda.
D. Presentation and Updates
1. Hear a report from the Friends of the Sunnyvale Public Library.
2. Hear the Director and Financial Reports for December 2025.
E. Discussion and Action Items
1. Discuss, consider, and act upon the minutes from the December 2, 2025 Special Meeting of the Sunnyvale Library Board.
2. Discuss recent and upcoming programming at the Doris Padgett Public Library.
3. Review the library's Long Term Plan for 2021-2026 and suggest which points, if any, are applicable to the library's 2027-2031 Long Term Plan.
4. Discuss, consider, and act upon the scheduling of Library Board meetings for March, April, and May of 2026.

Notice is hereby given that the Library Board will conduct a Special Meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the Doris Padgett Public Library. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting. Email comments may also be submitted to matthew.kolman@townofsunnyvale.org by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting.
